For those who want to visit Rajasthan in the summers but want to avoid the heat, the hill station Mount Abu is the perfect place to go. All the cities of Rajasthan are well-connected to all other parts of the country so it is easy to travel here.

 

Mumbai To Rajasthan By Air:  You can travel from Mumbai to Rajasthan by flight and the main international airport is the Jaipur International Airport. Traveling by flight takes about 1 hour and there are regular taxis and cabs you can take from the airport till the city center.

 

Mumbai To Rajasthan By Rail:  If you are travelling by train from Mumbai to Rajasthan, stop at Udaipur as this is the closest station. There is one direct train from Mumbai to Udaipur and this is the Udz Super Fast. This journey by train is about 16 hours. There are also direct trains from Mumbai to Jaipur and the main railway station is the Jaipur junction.

 

Mumbai To Rajasthan By Road:  For those who are travelling by road, there are direct buses from Mumbai to Udaipur. This will take you around 13 hours and is conveniently priced. You can also travel by cab or taxi, hired or self-driven.

This was our first trip after 3 years so we all were extremely excited. Our trip itinerary was Jaipur - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Udaipur. It was a wonderful trip and excellent support from Mr Chanchal Hadda. Swaroop Vilas Hotel in Udaipur was good. But not really Lakefacing. It overlooks tha connecting portion between Pichola lake and one more lake. This portion is narrow and dirty, Lakefacing is not worth it. Chacha Inn was again a wonderful stay with excellent service and ambience. Thanks

The stay the Jaisalmer desert was very bad. The agent hadn’t made the payment at Jaipur and we had to wait for 1 hour during the checkout. Other than that the other stays were good and had good time with family.
