Prakhar's 6 days trip to Bhutan

This was our first family trip to Bhutan and we had a wonderful time there. Our trip was organised by Green Zone destination. From the onset l, Sharmila was prompt and responsive. She was able to understand our requirements and created a custom itinerary for us. Our assigned driver and guide were also very friendly and knowledgeable. They shared with us the history of Bhutan, it's rich cultural heritage and religious significance. Our itinerary was 5 nights long which covered Thimphu, Punakha, Paro returning via Phutenshilong. During our visit, the weather was on our side and we visited all major attractions. We particularly liked the Punakha Dzong, Suspension Bridge, Tiger's nest and Paro cultural museum. The hike to Tiger's nest was the highlight of our trip. All our accomodations were comfortable and the rooms had picturesque views. My wife and I were also celebrating our wedding anniversary. The Green Zone destination team surprised us with a cake and decorated our room. This was a very kind gesture and it made our day all the more special. Additionally, during the trip my mother had forgotten her jacket in one of the hotels we were staying and the Green Zone destination team went out of the way to fetch it and deliver it to us enroute. Overall, we had a wonderful time and have cherished memories of our visit to Bhutan. Kudos to the Green Zone destination team for organising our trip and being on top of everything. I strongly recommend them for Bhutan travel requirements.

Every arrangement was excellent except those mentioned below. The guide and driver were excellent. Food was excellent. Entry into Puentsholing and leaving Puentsholing not well coordinated. Delay on both occasions about 1 hour each time. Riverfront Resort , Paro, Rooms given on two different floors. Central Hotel in Puentsholing gave a twin bedroom instead of a requested double bedroom Hike to Tigers nest. River rafting in Paro.

It was a good trip with a few hiccups. To start with, Vehicles picked up from Bagdogra and also drop back were in a pathetic condition. Hi ace in Bhutan was also average with no leg space, torn seats. However the driver and the guide were extremely good, helpful and informative. The issue with the vehicle became secondary because of the friendly guide Wangpo and driver Jimmy. Hotels: Lotus villa - very good. Tashi yid wong - Good but food is below average. Lobesa - it is a very old hotel. Rooms and furniture look mediocre . They initially provided rooms with no view in basement. Upon escalating to the agent they provided the rooms with the best way for the next day. Food and people are best. They also organised a picnic lunch by Punakha Dong which was a a very memorable experience. We had worst experience in Lhayayel resort in Paro. Best to avoid this. Had to change to a new hotel after all day of travelling in the night at 8pm. About hotels , the travel agent could have done a better job in verifying the room quality for the price we had paid. Sightseeing : we stayed for 8days however felt short to cover the itinerary. Would have been great if the agent had suggested us to atleast take one way back from Paro directly to save two days of just travel. Overall it was a pleasant experience. It's very pleasant and nice trip Except food in hotel nordenma all other things covered well. I felt the hotel stay little bit away from city. I would be more happy if the hotels were booked in city, and shopping, market near by places. I felt little inconvenience while visit shopping and city market places in thimpu as well paro. Hotel river front is new hotel and food is very good, hotel Staff also nice people. But location is far from city. That's only negative aspect Really enjoyed trip with Travel Triangle Thanks

I am very much satisfied with the A D Tours and Travel. The owner is very much cooperative. We had a mishap. My friend died on 3rd May at Paro. The owner of A D Tours and Travels Mr. Gurung cooperated a lot and I am thankful to him. He was there with us the whole time. So my special thanks to Mr. Gurung. We had a very pleasant honeymoon. It will always be memorable in the best possible way. We had 7 days trip to thimpu, punakha and paro. Deki from AD tours helped us create an excellent package and our cab driver Bhim and guide Nima were the most friendly people we ever met. They made us feel like home, guided us through and drove beautifully all along. The hotels were all excellent except one, park hotel in phuntsholing where service could have been better. Overall another mesmerizing experience with travel triangle. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Our cab driver Bhim and guide Nima has been real pleasure to travel with.

We booked a couple 6N/7D package for Bhutan via AD travels. The agent was polite in understanding my queries and customised the package as per our request be it hotels, itinerary etc. The main good thing about the travel package is the guide Jagannath who arranged for our stay in Thimphu, Punakha & Paro and was with us throughout out the trip. He was very courteous with us and handled everything safe & smoothly. He never acted in a money-minded way and put customer comfort as the top priority for any minor changes to the itinerary. Overall it was a pretty good experience with the AD travels team and the travel triangle helped us find them. We made some beautiful memories in Bhutan, trekking to Tiger's Nest and visiting Punakha Dzong were the highlights of our trip.

I had reserved a trip to Bhutan with Travel Triangle (TT) on a short notice. The travel agents who I received the quotes from were all superb but I ended up choosing Bhutan GBS Tours & Travel (BGTT). Sanjeev from BGTT was available immediately via WhatsApp/call although the duration of planning to trip competition. He was very very accommodating and allowed last minute changes to the plans. Namgay Wangchuk was our guide and Elvy our driver. They were so very courteous and professional. Elvy was seasoned andd matured, while Namgay had the exuberance of a young guide. The hotels/resorts provided were superb. Nordenma at Thimpu alllowed us a very late (1:00 am ) check in and even kept warm food for us after the long journey. Rema Resort at Paro was extraordinary. The owner himself would check with us every evening suring dinner, if we needed something. He even arranged for a surprise on our second night. I 100% recommend Sanjeev, Bhutan GBS Tours & Travel and his staff .

This was a trip of a lifetime and it did not disappoint. Phujikka Valley and Tiger Nest were an amazing part of the trip. We wish to express our thanks to the Bhutan INC tour. We traveled for 8 days with them from Paro, Thimphu, Punakha/Phobjikha with their guide and driver. Everything was well organized. We faced some problems at the start of the travel because of the lack of a guide in Bhutan but Bhutan INC managed well. We were very happy with the hotels we stayed in. Our guide Karma and Tashi was exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and very easy to get along with. Experience with Driver Tshering was very good. The guide and driver worked very hard to please us every day, choosing nice restaurants for every meal, he was flexible with working hours and making changes to our itinerary. Our driver was experienced and we never felt unsafe on the mountain roads. Overall, we would highly recommend Bhutan INC. If you are planning any sort of tour in Bhutan.

We had a great time in Bhutan. Would highly recommend anyone to visit the country. Kind of changes the perspective, since the people are so nice, humble, calm, satisfied and the country is clean, noise-free and has beautiful mountains. Thanks to Maitreya for handling everything so smoothly for this trip. First, the package was perfectly customised as per our requirements in terms of timings, destinations, hotels, travel, all. Maitrey was very polite to talk to, addressed all queries before the trip and was always available for any help and questions. The price of the package was also very genuine and competitive. Special mention for the Driver 'Chencho Dorji'. Although, he was our driver, he is also a qualified guide. I would highly recommend you to book him as a guide or a driver via Maitreya in your package, if he is available. He is extremely professional, drives well, has a lot of knowledge, great contacts and recommendation and a very polished personality. Our guide was also good and told us a lot about Bhutan, Buddhism, history and was fun to talk to and always took care of any requests. Tashi Namgay hotel in Paro was really amazing, totally worth the price and almost like a 4.5 star hotel. I would highly recommend staying there. We were visiting for my wife's Birthday and the hotel did a very nice decoration with a complimentary cake and a room upgrade. They also have a heated swimming pool. Overall, we had a great time!
