Summer (April-June): The desert is not the place to be during the summer months.  The sun beats down on the land mercilessly turning it hot with temperatures touching 50 degree Celsius. Winter (November-February): This is when the dessert comes alive in a thousand hues. This is the time for the Rann of Kutch festival. A display of the culture of the desert tribes, the full moon nights during this time come alive with music and dance. Bonfires across the sand dunes echo with the strains of song, making this the Best Season To Visit Kutch.  The temperatures can drop to single digits and the days, though hot, are pleasant.
