The trip would start from the Haridwar Railway station. Once you reach at the Haridwar Railway Station, our coordinators will pick you up and the journey for Chopta starts from now. In the way you can visit a number of places like the Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, permath bhavan and many more. The journey from Haridwar to Chopta takes almost close to 8 to 10 hours. Chopta is located at a height of 2900 meters from the sea level. Chopta is often called as the mini Switzerland of India. It is much famous for its treks and camping events. During the trek for Tungnath, you can even take the experience of Punch. Punch happens to be about 3 kms from chopta.

When you reach chopta, check in to your booked hotel. Get freshen up after the long travel in the day. Have some food and then head out to explore some nearby places to your hotel. The weather of Chopta is just awesome for those evening walks with your loved ones. After the evening walk return back to the hotel, have your dinner and relax. There will be an overnight stay at the same hotel.

A day to trek the mountains

In the second day of the trip to Chopta, have your breakfast in the hotel and then our coordinators would take you to Tungnath. This would be your very first trek in Chopta. Tungnath is situated at a height of 3680 meters above the sea level. The path to Tungnath is covered through high-altitude paddocks and forests. When you reach Tungnath, you can head to chandrashila, which is just more than one hour of trek. Experience the natures beauty and get indulged in it. It is again situated at an altitude of 4090 meters above the sea level. The panoramic views and shrines located there will definitely offer you some of the picturesque views of the Himalayas. After completion of the day’s travel, you can head out to Haridwar Railway station at 10pm. Our representatives will drop you there. Hope all this would make together an amazing experience.
