The best time to visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands is between October and May which constitutes summer and winter season in Andaman. This is the best season to visit Andaman as the weather is pleasant just perfect for sightseeing, water sports, and beach excursion. Monsoon season i.e from July to September is not a favorable time to plan a visit to Andaman as there is plenty of rain showers and you will not be able to enjoy water sports activities. Also, too much humidity in the atmosphere can cause an unpleasant feeling while sightseeing and beach exploration.

Monthly Weather Information in Andaman

April to June (24°c - 37°c): April to June is the preferred time to plan a visit to Andaman as the weather is quite pleasant for all sorts of activities. Weather in Andaman in May is favorable for water sports like paragliding, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and banana boat rides. Leisure time can be spent during this time having massages and enjoying sunbathing at the beaches.

July to September (22°c - 35°c): July to September is not a favorable time to visit Andaman as these months constitutes monsoon season in Andaman. The annual rainfall here during this time can exceed 300 meters which causes inconvenience in sightseeing. During this time, you will not be able to enjoy water sports activities too. There is too much humidity in the atmosphere during the monsoon months in Andaman. The only reason to visit Andaman during this time is to get heavy discounts on hotel bookings and other activities. 

October to March (20°c - 30°c): October to March is the best time to visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands as the weather is cool and pleasant. This time is the best for all the water sports activities such as scuba diving and snorkeling. Sunbathing, sightseeing and bird watching can be best enjoyed during this season. Andaman weather in December is quite cool and pleasant for all sorts of beach activities and romantic beach walks. This is also the peak tourist season in Andaman, so hotel rates can be higher as compared to other seasons.

Island Tourism Festival: Celebrated every year during the time of December and January, Island Tourism Festival is one of the most celebrated festivals in Andaman. Exhibitions of handicrafts, dance performances, and other live events are performed during this festival in which locals from different tribes participate in large number along with tourists from different parts of the world. 

Beach Festival: This is one of the most important festivals of Andaman and Nicobar Islands which is celebrated to promote beach activities among both the visitors as well as the local people. Fun-filled activities such as sand sculpture competition and fisherman dhingi race are held during this festival for the entertainment of the viewers. Summer season in Andaman starts from April and lasts till July and the temperature generally stays between 24 to 37 degrees Celsius.     We had a family vacation at the start of the month; skeptically we booked Andamans fearing about the monsoons, but Travel Triangle and the perfectly chosen partner Pearl Andaman assured me that we will not face any issues weather wise and it will be a great experience to travel during the first week
    of June. Trusting them we planned our tour, and it was a great experience - starting from Rohan at TT and Shivani from Pearl Andaman - they had been very courteous, helpful and patient. They meticulously planned our travel, taking care of all our needs, booking right hotels and right rooms to accommodate my family. The cab and its drivers were amazing as well - knowledgeable about the place and talked about its history - so were the tour coordinators of both Swaraj and Saheed Dweep. The water activities they suggested and where to do those saved a lot of money as well. I almost missed to mention the ferry services - they booked the best in business for us. :) Big thumps for both TT team and Pearl Andaman team - Thank you so much for everything

    We had an incredible experience on our trip to the Andaman Islands, all thanks to our agent (Anita) who meticulously planned and coordinated everything. The first two days were quite hectic as we covered major tourist attractions, but it was well worth it. The following four days were gentle and rel
    axing, providing a perfect balance to our vacation. My mother absolutely loved the trip and even tried scuba diving and other water sports, which was a highlight for her. Although we encountered a few hiccups with the hotel cleanliness on Neil Island, these issues were promptly addressed after I spoke with the manager. Overall, the trip was seamless, with everything running on time and as planned. We are grateful for the agent’s efforts in ensuring we had a memorable experience. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to explore the Andaman Islands.

    The trip was organised well but initially we had to keep following up for our trip details, the local travel agent did not connect once we landed. But after that it was a smooth ride all through. There was some miscommunication later on our itinerary, all this was upsetting but it was sorted. Most o
    f the things we asked for during the trip was promptly resolved. Even for the cancelled elephanta trip we were informed that the refund of the boat tickets will be done soon. The hotel rooms had some issues like no handwash at both the hotels, damaged electric kettle at Havelock beach resort and in one room the geyser and the hair dryer was not working. But overall it was a well organised trip.

    Overall good n can be satisfied...drivers n cabs n timings n tickets were all good and accurate.I wish I had a better hotel in Neil. The hotel given to us at Neil (sandy ridge)was just average..the rooms were smelly n even the shower did not work and they had rusted taps which were jammed n hard to
    open n close...the hotel garden was not maintained. Good coordination by travel agent...all went as planned. good behaviour of drivers--one of the driver at havlock helped me by bringing me a Bday cake for my daughter.
