About Museum Puri Lukisan In Bali

Museum Puri Lukisan is one of the oldest art museums in Bali. The core purpose of the museum is to exhibit the traditional and modern Balinese paintings of Bali, along with the art of wood carvings. It is home to the country's finest assortment of artwork spanning between pre and post-independence war. It is said that Ubud was the birth ground of Balinese art movement when artists used their passion for painting to display their expressions, opinions, and understanding of the world.

Museum Puri Lukisan Ubud is dominated by the eloquent figures of Balinese people almost looking like gods. All the artworks fill the walls of Puri Lukisan Museum Bali with nothing but colors. There are four buildings inside the museum premises names as North, West, East, and South. In the north is the Pitamaha Gallery, in the south is the Founders Gallery House, in the west is the Ida Bagus Made Gallery House, and in the east is the Wayang Gallery house. Each of the buildings holds Pre-War modern traditional Balinese paintings, Ida Bagus Made Estate Collection, Wayang Painting Collection, and other temporary exhibits. Overall trip was awesome except few things .We had not get breakfast during Nusa penida tour by mega boutique hotel even we informed them earlier at the evening and We stayed in kori maharani villa at ubud which was quite far from the city so no local market was there so it's my suggestion to travel agency to book hotel which is near to city so that traveller can easily access local markets by their own and special thanks to Mr. Ramiz from taking a break holidays for fulfilling all the commitments he had made with us and he was very polite and co-operative. Overall we enjoyed the trip. Nusa penida island and Aloha swing.

Traveller can be better guided about timings of reporting at places and how many things can be covered in a day keeping distance & customer comfort in mind. Nusa penida visit was not fully fulfilling since time was constraint even after overnight stay Merusaka hotel stay. Pool villa stay, beach club visit, etc
