By Air

Hampi has no airport. However, the closest airport to Hampi is Jindal Vijaynagar Airport in Vidyanagar, near Bellary, just 40 km away. The nearest relatively major airport is at Hubli, 143 km away from Hampi. These airports have made Hyderabad to Hampi connectivity smooth. Travelers can take a flight from Hyderabad to Vidyanagar. From Vidyanagar, they can board a bus to reach Hampi.

By Train

Hospet Railway Station is the closest to Hampi so those looking forward to reach this ancient town by train have to board a Hyderabad to Hospet train. The fastest train takes about 9 hours and the slowest, about 14 hours. Two trains - Hyderabad-Kolhapur Express (11303) and Hyderabad -Vasco/Hubli Express (17603) operate via Hospet Junction on daily basis. One more Hyderabad to Hampi train is the Goa bound Hyderabad Vasco Da Gama express (17021).

By Road

Hyderabad to Hampi distance is almost 380 km that can be covered by KSRTC daily buses. However, the frequency of buses from Hyderabad to Hospet is far better. From there one can get a local bus or even take an auto rickshaw to reach Hampi. However, those planning to hire a car for the entire trip or drive themselves, the journey will be great. A Hyderabad to Hampi bus takes almost 7-8 hours from Hyderabad to Shimoga, via Hospet.

hich was not at all decent because it seemed like a complete mess. 2.The itinerary was not as per the travel time 3.The agent was reminded again amd again about the trip and other details. 4.The quote was finalised and accordingly i had paid my previous installment but later in extra amount was asked around 6000 extra was paid Ooty was very beautiful.The landscape,the hotel at Ooty,Hospitality of people and gardens were very good.
